My dehumidifier keeps turning itself off. After about five minutes. The bucket full is not lit up. What do i do?
For model number APEL70LTL1
It could also be because the filter or mechanism on the dehumidifier has become clogged or broken. . Keeping your filter clean and clear of debris can help your unit perform better. If your room is too cold (typically below 65 degrees) you may see frost form on the coils of your dehumidifier. If you suspect this is the case then switch off the dehumidifier and then move it into a warmer area while you heat the room you need to dehumidify up to above 65 degrees. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you.

Serial #rf 000240 - unit inoperable: No water out, filter clean, all controls appear operative, room temperature normal, no misuse, serial # rf 000240. Purchased about 5 years ago. If not diy repair not feasible, i will replace with new unit.

Hello Harold, thank you for contacting us. Before replacing the unit, we would recommend checking the float, part number FIX3512331. It monitors the water level in the bucket and trips the float switch when the water level reaches the maximum level. When faulty it can stop the dehumidifier from working. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
