The unit shuts off after turned on. We've reset, changed outlets, but it still shuts off and beeps. What's wrong with the unit? It's only 2 years old!

The existing filter had not been cleaned regularly for about three (3) years, so it needed to be replaced.

I used a screw driver and pliers to remove the existing filter. Before installing the new filter, I vacuumed the front grill as well as the metal cooling coils to remove any dust or dirt.
