The air conditioner has started cycling and changing operating modes. Going from cool to fan or from econ to heat. It will cool to selected temp, hold it for awhile then switch modes or stop cooling. Please help.
Hello Tom, thank you for reaching out. We would suggest checking the user interface board. It can fail if its internal tactile switches or electronic traces degrade due to age or humidity exposure. This creates electrical shorts that are interpreted as phantom key presses, causing the unit to cycle through different modes and settings on its own. The part number is PS12723151. Will not go in heat mode what cab I do to get it in heat mode. I have cleaned it inside and out.
