Unscrewed the unit from the exterior case pulled out the unit unscrewed the 4 screw that hold the fan shroud carefully unscrewed the coil pulled back unclipped the axial fan clip gentlyhit with rubber mallet replacement of new fan replaced clip 15 minutes best investment of 20 bucks as apposed to 400 $

Took cabinet off. Loosened rear condenser and moved it out of the way. Took fan blade off of motor shaft and replaced. Actually broke off small part of blade hub tapping it on to the shaft with a hammer - use a block of wood to protect!

Pulled PTAC out of wall sleeve, unhook wire harness from control area, remove condenser shroud and motor and fan blade all at the same time. Replaced motor bracket and re-installed in reverse order.
