This remote control is a device for adjusting your air conditioner settings. It requires two AAA batteries for operation. A malfunctioning remote control may have unresponsive buttons or signs of physical damage. You may also notice that your air conditioner does not consistently or promptly respond to commands from the remote control. You will then need to operate your unit manually, which can be inconvenient and limit access to certain features. Please note that this OEM replacement part is sold individually, and batteries are not included.
