What does E8 mean on the unit?

Hello Lynn, Thank you for writing. An E8 error usually indicates a fan problem with the indoor or outdoor unit. An E8 error is usually cleared by power cycling both the indoor and outdoor unit by turning power off at the breaker. Be sure to check the indoor air filters are not dirty and blocking air flow from the fan. The Filter is PartSelect Number PS12726934. We hope this helps.
