Part #WK11X10007
This is a float manufactured to fit into your dehumidifier. When the dehumidifier is in use and water is being absorbed from the air, the float detects the water level in your dehumidifier water bucket. When the appliance detects that the water bucket has reached its maximum level, it shifts the float switch to stop the appliance from dehumidifying so the bucket will not overfill. If your bucket has been underfilling or overfilling, you may need to replace this switch. This float is white in color and made entirely of plastic. This is a genuine replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Fan running but no water in bucket
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello James, thank you for getting in touch. If your dehumidifier is not collecting water, the unit is not operating properly. Try resetting the dehumidifier by disconnecting the power to the unit for 30 seconds and reconnecting the power. Then, set the control settings and see if the unit operates properly. If this does not help, you will need to check the capacitor, the overload, and the electronic control board. 1. I purchased my GE dehumidifier at home depot a few years age and can't find my model # listed on any web site. ?????? 2. the fan and compressor come when unit is started, after a couple of minutes the compressor will shut off and will not come on again. the water bucket is always empty.
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello Jim, thank you for your inquiry. The only part that is showing in the symptoms list for your model not staying on, would be the water bucket float, PartSelect number PS3512331. If the connector for this part is faulty in any way, the bucket may under fill and will not stay on. We hope this helps.

1st of all, glued the broken prong that secured the float. Worked temporarily before breaking again. Started to trash the dehumidifier then looked online using the Model number. Parts select appeared thru the search and to my surprise, the part was available for under $20.00.

Ordered part and replaced it with ease. Works gr eat!
