Water isnt draining from hise connected to unit. I am emptying every couple of days.
Hi Bruce,
Thank you for your question. According to the GE website, if water is not draining from the hose, make sure the connection for the hose is not loose. If it is tighten it. If the hose is pushed into a drain similar to a standpipe make sure it is not pushed in too far. Make sure that the hose is not at a steep angle as this will prevent less material from accumulating in the hose and the drain. If the hose is too long, cut the hose, so that it is moving straight into the drain. Make sure the hose you are using is in good working order. Clean both the hose and the drain. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!

My unit runs but there is never water in the storage tank. I never hear the compressor turn on. The fan only runs. Ever since I've had it. I have left all the settings factory and just plugged into outlet. I have never dumped an ounce of water. Please advise what I need to do since I bought this to help control moisture in my basement.
Hello Amy, Thank yo for the question. We suggest checking the coils to see if there is a dust and dirt build up. This can effect the air flow and the operations of the Dehumidifier. We hope this helps!

My humidifier only runs for a few minutes a then stops . If I restart it will do the same
Hi Phil, thank you for contacting us. A dirty or clogged filter can restrict airflow and water flow, causing the humidifier to stop prematurely. The filter assembly for your model is part number PS12172022. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
