Machine runs but does not extract moisture. Cleaned filter. What might be the problem?

Thank you for your question. If your dehumidifier is not extracting moisture from the air, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the capacitor, the overload, the fan motor and the electronic control board. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. Support prong broke on float

Less than 15 mins
1st of all, glued the broken prong that secured the float. Worked temporarily before breaking again. Started to trash the dehumidifier then looked online using the Model number. Parts select appeared thru the search and to my surprise, the part was available for under $20.00.
