My dehumidifier is putting out a lot of heat. It is working well to remind moisture, but putting a lot of heat out. I've tried cleaning it, doesn't seem to help. Any idea why it would be producing so much heat?

Clogged coils or filters restrict airflow and can cause the dehumidifier to overheat, leading to increased heat output. Blocked vents or inadequate space around the unit can restrict airflow, causing overheating. A faulty compressor, part number PS993071, could produce a lot of heat. It has to over work to properly function, producing more heat than normal. We hope this helps.
