This infinite switch knob is two inches in diameter. It is all black in color except for a red indicator line. This knob is made of plastic, and it will accept a 'D' shaped shaft.
This stove is close to 10 years old. It must be deaf, because our other appliances, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and disposal all have overheard us whenever we've discussed money. ... Read moreirst, I ordered the part. Because I've had this problem before, I didn't balk at ordering four knobs instead of one, like last time it broke. Second, I waited a day or so, and when I needed to use the burner that had a bum knob, I switched the knob from another burner. Third, I received the package with the new knobs and opened it. Inside were four knobs in plastic bags.I opened the plastic bags. (Maybe this is another step. I don't know. Fourth, I put the knob on the stem that extends from the stove itself.
It was impossible for us to find a local appliance store to get us this part. Thanks to you guys we got the perfect replacement and it took seconds to remedy our little eyesore. thank you for making me look like a hero!
