Removed front, rear and side panel. matched up connector of old motor to new. unplugged old harness and plugged in new motor before, I installed it to see if it worked. Ran and sounded great. Took old motor off and replaced with new. All good.

... Read moret part I needed. It fit perfectly and now not only is my unit quiet, I’m not forced to replace the whole mini split system. $200 and an hour of my time versus $8k.
The installation was a piece of cake, and I have never opened any hvac equipment previously. Disconnected power, opened it up, verified the part and replaced it after cleaning up the unit with a shop vac. A fan motor is not a complicated part but they come in specific sizes, duty cycles, wiring. It was literally a few screws to open the case, a fan blade bolt, and 3 bolts on the motor. The wire connection was exact and easy to route to the main logic board.
