Breaker, Circuit, 20a – Part Number: 209872GS
$15.46
In Stock
Breaker, Circuit, 20a
Part #209872GS
This circuit breaker is an important safety device found in the control box of your generator. It protects the electrical system from overloads and short circuits by automatically cutting off the electricity flow when it detects excessive current. It can handle a maximum current of 20 amps. You can tell if a circuit breaker is broken by checking for visible signs of damage, such as an unresponsive button, cracks, or burnt marks. If the circuit breaker repeatedly trips, the breaker may be faulty or overloaded. You will need a screwdriver, a set of pliers, a socket set, and a nutdriver to replace the breaker in your generator. Follow the instructions in your user manual to access the control box. You typically need to remove the carburetor and the fuel tank before removing the cover of the control box. Please note that this OEM replacement part is sold individually.

Over time the washer may become damaged; watch for cupping from over-tightening as a leading cause. This is a very easy part to repair and does not require any tools.
Assembly, Holder, Brush – Part Number: 66386GS
$32.55
In Stock
Assembly, Holder, Brush
Part #66386GS
The brush holder assembly in your generator keeps the brushes in place, allowing them to touch the rotor. It consists of a plastic brush holder and two carbon brushes with lead wires and attached springs. You can usually find the holder assembly inside the generator housing, near the rotor and stator assembly. If the holder assembly is broken, it can cause improper electrical contact between the brushes and the rotor, leading to a loss of electrical current transfer. Additionally, over time, the brushes will wear down from use, resulting in inconsistent contact with the rotor. Look for visible signs of damage like cracks, breaks, or deformations in the holder. A damaged holder can cause unstable voltage, power surges, or your generator failing to generate electricity altogether. To remove the existing brush holder assembly from your generator, refer to your user guide for detailed instructions. It may involve removing a cover or access panel to reach it. Use a nut driver or suitable tool to disconnect the assembly from the rear-bearing carrier and any connected wires. Remember to magnetize the brush assembly and conduct a generator test after installing the new one. Please keep in mind that this authentic OEM part is sold individually.
