The Mandrel Assembly is easily detached by removing the three Washer Head Screws from above the Mandrel Housing on the Mower Deck . You will need to remove the Nut that is attached to the Mandrel Shaft, which is located above the Mandrel Pulley. The complete Mandrel Assembly should come right out now. Remove old Shaft from the Housing and place a new one in place of it. Re-attach the now Complete Mandrel Assembly back to the deck and attach pulleys, belts and blades.
