Remove the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting and remove the valve cover from the engine to access the rocker arm. Detach the rocker arm and unthread the faulty adjuster. Screw the new adjuster into the rocker arm and use a feeler gauge to set the correct intake clearance. Reinstall the arm into the engine and return the valve cover to complete the repair.
