DO NOT WATCH THE INSTALLATION VIDEO ON WEBSITE! It's a nice video- just put me through a lot of grief because it did not apply to my washer. It is not necessary to open the control panel to pull out something at the bottom of the timer shaft(that isn't there)...or anything else requiring tools.
