Lawn Mower Brake Puck – Part Number: 917-0678
$10.54
In Stock
Lawn Mower Brake Puck
Part #917-0678
When the brakes are applied, this brake puck presses against the brake disc in your lawn equipment to help slow down or stop it. The brake puck is in the brake assembly, which might be located near the transmission or the wheels of your machine. If you notice that the machine takes longer to stop or that there is a loud scraping or grinding noise when you push down on the brake, your brake puck may have worn out. If it is not replaced, you risk losing braking power, which leads to equipment damage or accidents. Before any repairs, make sure that your machine is turned off and that the spark plug is disconnected. To dissemble the brake assembly and access the brake puck, use pliers or a wrench to remove any bolts or clips holding it in place. With a screwdriver, pry the brake puck out of your machine. Since this genuine OEM part is sold individually, determine the number of pucks your machine needs by consulting your user manual.

Socket-headlamp
Part #925-1058A
This OEM headlamp socket connects the headlamp bulb to the electrical system of your lawn equipment. If you notice cracks, loose connections, or corrosion in the socket, it may be broken. If the bulb flickers or does not turn on, the socket may be faulty. You need to replace a broken socket to maintain optimal visibility and safe operation of the lawn equipment. To do this, first unplug your machine or disconnect the battery. Afterward, simply disconnect the electrical wires from the socket and gently remove it from its bracket. If you plan to replace this part, consider purchasing multiple sockets and replacing them simultaneously, as they tend to wear out at a similar rate.
