Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. This control panel trim piece is just under thirteen inches long. It is almost seven inches wide, and it has white lettering on the front. This piece of trim is made of metal and has five holes for surface burner knobs.
Removed the knobs. Remove the four screws holding the cover and then replced the old cover with the new one. Tightened the four screws and replaced the knobs.
First I removed the stove on and off knobs and then I lifted the cover and unscrewed 4 screws removed old trim and inserted new trim and screwed in the 4 screws , lower the cover and replaced the knobs.
