This OEM grommet, also called a 90-degree breather tube, is sold individually. Black in color and made of rubber, this is a 90-degree elbow for the crankcase breather tube of your mower engine. If you notice a reduction in the mower engine performance, and engine backfires, this part is likely to be in need of replacing. It can develop cracks due to fatigue, and our troubleshooting tip is to inspect this part if dark smoke is coming out of the exhaust, it is a telltale sign. This is an easy repair to make, and does not require any tools. The new grommet attaches on the breather tube fromt he crankcase to the carburetor.

The clutch ball allows the center part of the ratchet to turn backwards freely but catch when turned forward in your engine. This is an OEM part that is made of metal, and it is silver in color. This part will break due to fatigue and wear, and you will know if the part needs replacing if it is no longer able to swing outward to catch the outside of the clutch to start the engine. If this occurs, it is time to replace the clutch ball, which our customers found to be a challenging repair.
