how do I fix my ice water dispenser my wife and son can switch it from crushed ice to water to cube ice no problem I can only get it to switch from water to ice but not back to water

Hello Joel, thank you for getting in touch. If your ice water dispenser only switches to ice and not back to water, the problem is likely with the dispenser control board, part number PS12385169. We would recommend checking it to solve the problem. We hope this helps!
For this model the ice maker is very easy to replace. All it takes is a phillips head screwdriver. There are two wire connections you have to unplug. Easy out easy in. Watch YouTube videos on this topic if you are uncertain before tackling the job. The right door was easy to replace. Just pull the gasket with your fingers and it will come off easily. Place new gasket over door and use fingers to press it inside the groove few inches at a time. Pay attention to gasket orientation.

... Read more door is a bit harder because you need to remove the mullion at the door edge using a screw driver. Remove two screws on the center hinge and then slide the mullion up to disengage. Then unplug the wires to remove the mullion. Replace the gasket as described above and replace the mullion reversing the directions shown above.
The Ice Maker from Part Select was complete. Plastic housing, Ice maker located at the top and ice cruncher/dispenser at the bottom. Note: Both the ice maker and the dispenser wiring goes to a common connecter. It is not advisable to plan changing out only one of these.
