This filter is designed to minimize impurities that can cause ill-tasting water or an unpleasant smell. It reduces sediment, dirt, rust, limescale, sand, and many other contaminants that can be harmful to your health and the life of your appliance. This filter should be replaced every 6 months or 200 gallons to ensure top quality performance. To remove your unwanted filter, press the push button to open the filter cover (water may spill from the hole), pull out the old cartridge in a downward motion. To install the new filter, make it so the ears are in the horizontal position and push the new cartridge into the housing until it stops. Push the filter upward until it is secure. Click the cover to lock it in place. Run water for approximately 5 minutes to prep the filter for use, and discard water. Reset the “filter reset” button if applicable.

This freezer handle support is a 2.5-inch by 1-inch white plastic bracket designed to provide support and stability to the right side of the freezer door handle. It is an authentic manufacturer replacement part that distributes the force placed on the handle during use to prevent excessive stress on one area of the handle. The handle support also secures the handle to the freezer door. You can find it on the inner right side of the freezer door handle. Over time the screw that secures the handle support may wear down or become stripped, or the plastic bracket may crack, causing the handle support to become unstable and unable to support the door handle. To access the faulty handle support bracket, first unthread the screws that secure it to the freezer door handle. Detach the handle and remove the screws that secure the handle support to the freezer door. Align the new handle support with the attachment points on the freezer door and secure it with the appropriate screws. Attach the handle to the new support and ensure it is securely fastened. Be careful not to not to overtighten the screws, to avoid stripping the mounting holes and damaging the handle support. Screws are sold separately. Hi Louis, thank you for getting in touch. We have found that the issue is probably with the compressor start relay. The compressor start relay does not come separately. It comes with the compressor kit, part number PS12739218. We hope this helps!

1. Shut off water to refrigerator. 2. Removed bottom sheet metal cover (6 screws). 3. Removed leaking water inlet valve assembly from refrigerator (1 screw). 4. Remove water inlet tube (loosen nut) and tube back to refrigerator (pull from water valve after remove cotter pin washer). 5. Detach two electrical wire harnesses. 6. Install new water inlet valve assembly to refrigerator (1 screw). 7. Replace both water tubes to water inlet assembly. 8. Re-attach both wiring harnesses. 9. Turn water to refrigerator on. 10. Check for leaks. 11. Re-attach bottom sheet cover (6 screws).

My nephew accidentally forced the door closed last year, which resulted in the door having to be re closed manually folding back the flap. Ugh!

Unscered 2 screws, unplug electrical connection under the screws, slide her flap into grooves, realign screw holes , and rescrew in. Done.

Broken Door Mullion Spring

Had to buy the entire door mullion because the spring broke, wasn't happy. Got the new part very quickly and it was a new replacement part number. Somewhat tentative. Took it out of the box and looked it over. No spring! Groan! Thought I got the wrong part. Flipped the bottom hinge and it snapped open, no need for a spring! Two screws, di sconnect the wire harness, throw away the old, get new, connect the wire harness, connect hinges, put in two screws! Super easy. Watch the video for some pointers along the way.
