freezer compartment not freezing

Hello Cesar, thank you for your question. Dirty condenser coils can considerably reduce freezer performance, they should be clean and dust free. Secondly, check the evaporator fan motor (part number: PS3523323) and make sure the evaporator fan is good. Next is to check the defrost sensor (part number: PS3636324), it is the part that prevents the freezer from getting too warm and controls the function of defrosting. A defective defrost heater (part number: PS3527753) can cause over-melting and prevent the freezer from freezing. Next, you need to check the condenser fan (part number: PS3523330), if it is not working the condenser will not be able to freeze in the freezer. Video makes it look easy. Kenmore refrigerator does not have "groove" along the right hand side of switch that allows for pushing down on release. Used a thin screwdriver to get under to push while holding switch edge with pliers. Kept slipping. Tape sides to avoid scratching inside of refrigerator.
