Ice maker quit working. Door despenser light on all the time. What is wrong?

Hello Deborah, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the dispenser microswitch may be physically jammed or electrically shorted in the closed position. This keeps the circuit continuously active, causing the dispenser light to remain on and disabling the ice maker to prevent overflow or repeated motor cycling. Replacing the dispenser switch can help fix the issue. The part number is PS3529276. We hope this helps!
