My freezer or fridge is not cooling or making ice. Is this likely a computer problem that is repairable?

We have leaking in both Humidity Controlled Crisper drawers?

Hello Russ, thank you for contacting us. The defrost drain might be clogged or frozen, causing water to overflow into the crisper drawers. Check the defrost drain to see if it's clogged or frozen. If it's frozen, thaw the ice and flush the drain with hot water to ensure it's clear of debris. The water inlet valve supplies water to the dispenser and icemaker. If the valve is cracked or has a loose fitting, it can cause leaks. I pulled the gasket off and installed the new one. It was very easy. All I had to do was to push the new gasket in place in the grooves in the door. The gasket I received was identical to the one I replaced.

My nephew accidentally forced the door closed last year, which resulted in the door having to be re closed manually folding back the flap. Ugh!
