Why after being unplugged for some hours and plug back in, it gets cold but after running for some time, it warms up and stop cooling until i unplug it again for some hours?

when i push the ice/water dispenser nothing happens, but sometimes when i push half way it works

The plastic pivot points behind the paddle may be bent, cracked, or worn down, preventing it from depressing fully. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!

Removed the old stopper and hinge assembly (the hard rubbery parts had worn enough against each other to cause the annoying sound when opening and closing the door).

More than 2 hours

I paid for the expedited shipping and they sent me a cheap knockoff attempt at the part that had the wrong size hole. So they refunded me the money I paid for the part but not the shipping, and then I crushed the part they sent me with a hammer and threw it away.

Removed ice dispenser and display with small screwdriver from front of the fridge. Pried out the whole piece slowly. This exposed the motor that activates the chute. Plugged in the new motor before any removal to verify the motor was the problem. When it worked, removed old and installed new. 3 screws. Piece of cake.
