7000C (91 03) Abu Garcia Conventional Reels - Overview

This is available as an individual replacement part. The cog wheel goes between the click plate and the left side plate. A set of pliers and a screwdriver may be needed during the replacement of this part. It is made of plastic and may become broken and will need to be replaced. This is an authentic replacement part sourced from the original manufacturer for use with ambassadeurs made by Abu Garcia.

This is a manufacturer authorized replacement part used on Abu Garcia reels. Retaining/Lock Rings are designed such that their contact diameter has some interference fit with the groove in which they fit. This creates a fit between the ring and groove. This part is made out of metal and is sold individually. To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver and pliers.

This brake block is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from Abu Garcia. It is designed for compatibility with various models of Ambassadeur fishing reels. Four brake blocks are included in this pack. These brake blocks slow the spool and minimize backlash by making contact with the sideplate of the reel when the spool rotates. To lock these brake blocks, simply press them against the housing.
