7000C (81-2) Abu Garcia Conventional Reels - Overview

This is a manufacturer authorized replacement part used on Abu Garcia reels. Retaining/Lock Rings are designed such that their contact diameter has some interference fit with the groove in which they fit. This creates a fit between the ring and groove. This part is made out of metal and is sold individually. To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver and pliers.

This brake block is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from Abu Garcia. It is designed for compatibility with various models of Ambassadeur fishing reels. Four brake blocks are included in this pack. These brake blocks slow the spool and minimize backlash by making contact with the sideplate of the reel when the spool rotates. To lock these brake blocks, simply press them against the housing.

This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with Abu Garcia reels. The mechanics of drag systems consist of discs (drag washers) arranged in a stack on the spool shaft. This kit includes four (4) compound material washers and one (1) metal washer. To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver.
