Dishwasher won't start unless we pull the breaker for 5 to 10 min. Turn breaker back on push start and the dishwasher works. We heard it could be the main circuit board or the sump pump motor. Have you worked with issue before?
For model number 66513092N412
Hi Jim,
Thank you for your question. If the dishwasher will not start, we recommend checking the door latch and the electronic control board. Before removing and checking these parts, unplug the washer from the electrical outlet. If the door is not latching properly, the dishwasher will not start. When inspecting the door latch, check and make sure that the door strike is activating the switch. If it is, test the door switch for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting to see if it is operating normally. You should receive a reading of zero or nearly zero. If you get any other reading, you will need to replace the door latch. For the electronic control board, inspect it visually for signs of damage, wear, scorching, or burn marks. If it shows any of these signs, it will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!

Washer not heating element test good 13 ohms. What else could it be.
For model number 66513092N412
Hi Ralph,
Thank you for your question. If the heating element tests fine, check the high limit thermostat to see if it has malfunctioned. The high limit thermostat acts as a safety device that keeps the dishwasher from getting too hot. If the thermostat is malfunctioning, it could shut off the heat before your dishes are finished drying. Before removing and testing the high limit thermostat from the dishwasher, please unplug the dishwasher from the electrical outlet. The high limit thermostat will sometimes be found at the bottom of the dishwasher tub, behind the lower access panel. You will need to test the part for continuity with a multimeter. Set your multimeter to Rx1 mode and touch the terminals with the probes. When your thermostat is at room temperature, you should receive a reading of infinity. If you place the thermostat next to a warm lamp, you should receive a reading of zero. If your thermostat produces different results, you will need a replacement high limit thermostat. The part number listed under your model number for the high limit thermostat is PS11743423. If you need to place an order for it, you may order it either online or by calling our customer service line and anyone will be happy to assist you. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.
