when turning any control knob clockwise from off to the ignitor postion, they do not lock into position.

If you are unable to lock the knobs when you turn them clockwise, the issue could be with the knobs, part number 88848, or the burner valves on the manifold assembly, part number 62762. You will need to inspect the parts to see which one is causing the issue. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service.
