This part is an OEM from Abu Garcia. The Worm Guard 5000 is made for use with Ambassadeur fishing reels, and is sold individually. The protective metal and plastic guard is fitted onto the worm shaft in the frame. You will need a screwdriver and pliers for the removal and replacement.

Brake Block Large 5000 (4 pk)

This brake block is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from Abu Garcia. It is designed for compatibility with various models of Ambassadeur fishing reels. Four brake blocks are included in this pack. These brake blocks slow the spool and minimize backlash by making contact with the sideplate of the reel when the spool rotates. To lock these brake blocks, simply press them against the housing.

This kit includes four (4) compound material washers and one (1) metal washer. To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver.
