The purpose of a vaporiser bar is to distribute the heat evenly and prevent grease drippings from reaching the burner tubes which prevents flare-ups. Unfortunately, over time the vaporiser bar will rust and require replacement. This part is made of a high-quality metal and is sold separately.

The electrode is made of metal and helps to light the burner. This item is available as an individual replacement part. A screwdriver and a socket set might be needed during the installation process.
