The recoil starter engages the flywheel to spin and start the engine. The most common use for replacing the flywheel assembly is if the engine is misfiring, missing, stuttering not starting or overheating. This part is sold individually. Here is a list of tools that are needed to replace the engine flywheel a receptacle for draining fuel, Phillip's screwdriver, Torx wrenches, starter rope (or similar object) for binding the engine, spark plug wrench or socket, adjustable wrench, long-nosed pliers and a rubber mallet. Let the engine cool and disconnect the spark plug wire before installing this part.

Remove screws from cover insert New parts put everything back together making sure not damage electrical low voltage switch l.
