It was cheap and the fix was removing old insulation, vaccuming out and cleaning the stove then replacing the insulation with the new one. PartSelect had a great price and shipped promptly.

I lifted the top, disconnected the power, pulled off the knobs, unscrewed the switch for the back light, removed seven screws to finally get the front panel off.
