2812K (Type 2) DeWALT Impact Driver - Overview

When you pull back the sleeve of the chuck assembly and insert your bit, the Steel Ball is the part that locks the bit in the chuck assembly. In the Screw Drivers listed below this is the part that secures the Bit Holder in the spindle.
