Using a hammer or a bearing puller tool, gently push the bearing out of its housing. selinoid clicks but starter will not crank engine

Hello Michael, thank you for contacting us. Make sure the battery has enough charge and is not weak. A click but no crank is the classic sign of insufficient battery voltage. Battery may have enough charge to trigger the solenoid but not enough to turn the starter motor. Check the wires, corroded or loose terminals at the battery, solenoid, or starter could cause the engine to not start. If these are not the issues, the solenoid, part number PS16413786, itself could be faulty and will need to be replaced. Though it's clicking, the solenoid contacts inside may be burned/worn and not passing full current to the starter. Glad to be of assistance!
