$9.83
In Stock
Nut, Cntr Lck, 3/8-16
Part #703893
This centerlock nut, or lock nut, is sold individually and locks itself in place when inserted, to prevent it from backing out due to vibration. Over time, due to its strenueous job, it may become loose or break due to wear and tear, and will need to be replaced. This lock nut is made of metal and is silver in color. When it will no longer lock, you will need to complete this easy repair, which requires a wrench or socket and torque wrench. Ensure you torque the lock nut to your manufacturer specifications; this nut can have a range of different applications for a variety of equipment, so please check your model number or owners manual to be sure it is the right fit for your model.
Lawn Mower Locknut Flange – Part Number: 704067
$6.40
In Stock
Lawn Mower Locknut Flange
Part #704067
This centerlock nut, also known as a flange nut or hex nut flange is a manufacturer approved replacement part. It is 5/8 of an inch with 18 threads per inch. The nut is designed to secure the bolt or screw it is positioned on and prevent it from loosening during use. It has a series of ridges on the inside that allow it to grip the threads of the bolt or screw and a flange at its base to provide a larger surface area to clamp on. Over time the lock nut may break or become stripped. Inspect all the centerlock nuts on your equipment as you may need to order more than one for your repair. To install a new nut, use your hands to thread it on and use a pair of pliers or a wrench to tighten it until it is securely held. Be careful not to overtighten the nut as this can deform the nut and wear down the threads that keep it secure. If you experience difficulties removing or tightening the nuts, use a centerlock nut tool or a cassette lockring tool instead. Note that this nut is sold individually.

$7.08

Nut, 3/8-16
Part #703333
This flange nut is designed for use in lawn and garden equipment. It is an OEM replacement part with a diameter of 0.375 inches and a thread pitch of 16 threads per inch. The nut has a ring-shaped extension on one end, known as a flange which helps to evenly distribute the clamping force of the nut and provide a more secure hold. Additionally, the flange eliminates the need for separate washers and reduces the risk of abrasion on the surface being fastened. It is normal for the nut to corrode, crack, or for the threads to wear down over time. To replace the flange nut, unthread it from the fastener, and insert and secure the new one using a socket/wrench. Each sold individually.

The clearance problem can be relieved by loosening a couple engine mount bolts and the bolts that mount the friction wheel assembly to the mower frame. No need to take the bolts out just loosen them a few turns.
