This OEM Cone Bearing, also known as a Tapered Bearing, is a silver, .75 I.D., metal part. Sold individually, it attaches inside the wheel hub, and customers have rated the installation as Medium Difficulty. It is recommended to pack the bearing before installation. This part reduces friction on a moving part, inside of a stationary part. When it breaks, you will hear a grinding, growling or squealing sound. 1inch shaft and wheels have to be removed first.

Wheels had to be cut off of the axle in order to get to the seals. The center of wheel is 3in wide and axle isn't tappered on troy bilt pony model wheels where rusted on.
