Agitator Cap Kit

This agitator cap kit consists of the agitator cap itself, a hold down screw, and a seal. The agitator cap is white and made of plastic. Also, the cap is about three inches in diameter as well as three inches long. This cap kit will fit all of Whirlpool/Kenmore's spline driven agitators, except for those ones that are direct drive models.

It was the heat safety switch in the old drive motor

I disconnected the drive belt from the motor and ran the motor to isolate it from the rest of the mechanisms. This was the noise.
