Gasoline fills cylinder when turned off and will not turn over until gas is drained through spark plug hole
For model number 13AC26JD093
Hi Richard, Thank you for writing. Sounds like there is debris stuck in the needle valve inside the carburetor. This will allow fuel to flow into the engine causing it to hydro lock until you remove the fuel from the cylinder. You will have to remove the carburetor and remove the fuel bowl then the needle valve to clean it out. I hope this helps and good luck with your repair.

Stopped running. Turned to be a bent intake push rod and broken rocker arm
Removed head. Replaced both rocker arms, intake pus rod, push rod guide exhaust and head gaskets. Torqued head in 3 stages to 216 in/lbs. gapped intake to .004 and exhaust to .006 at TDC
Added oil and gas. Now running great
If you need to replace push rods use steel (exhaust) they are the same length

Gas leaking from tube breather
First I opened the top of the mower to expose the housing cover. Secondly I removed the four housing bolts to remove the housing cover from the mower.
