I have a solid understanding of small engines. This pressure washer was used twice in 2013, when purchased. Sat in a garage for a couple of years with gas in tank and carburetor. Owner was moving and after 7 years of moving it around he sold it at a garage sale.
I took it home and took off gas tank and thoroughly cleaned it. Then we nt through the carburetor and let soak in cleaner. Cleaned up the spark plug, tested and has good spark. reinstalled carburetor but would not start. I knew I had gas issues. I ordered a carburetor kit and replace the needle valve and seals. Still would not start. Ordered a new carburetor and spark plug. Installed both. Two pulls and it runs like new. Advice: don't try to clean out old carburetor, just buy a new one and install.
