KENMORE WHIRLPOOL MODEL 106 8609982 IS NOT COOLING. FREEZER SECTION & REFRIGERATOR SECTION. COMPRESSOR IS RUNNING, CONDENSER FAN IS RUNNING. EVAPORATOR FAN IS RUNNING. THERE IS NO DUST ON COILS. TOOK BACK OFF OF THE FREEZER SECTION. AFTER AN HOUR EVAPORATOR COILS DO NOT HAVE ANY FROST ON THEM. IS THERE NO FREON OR I READ THAT IT COULD BE A CLOGGED SYSTEM ??? HOW DO YOU FIX A CLOGGED SYSTEM. OR IS IT A BAD THERMOSTAT PROBLEM

According to our research on the model, we would suggest checking the door seals as they may not seal properly if they are dirty, damaged, or worn which can cause your refrigerator to leak cool air. If they are good then the Temperature Control Thermostat appears to be faulty and you may need to replace it with part number PS396329. We hope this helps, let us know if you have further questions!

Removed 2 screws holding water fill tube to rear of refrigerator and pulled out, matched old part with new to make sure of proper match. Guide new fill tube thru hole, making sure it is aligned with slot in ice cube tray on inside of freezer. Install new plastic line from water pump outlet to water fill tube, check for leaks, job done.
