Hi Gene, thank you for contacting us. If the freezer fan is not running, it might be because of the ice buildup on the fan blades. Unplug the refrigerator and remove the evaporator fan cover. If there is a buildup, leave your refrigerator unplugged until the blades are free to spin. Ensure that the fan blades are not bent. If this does not help, then the problem is with the freezer fan motor, part number PS11740359. We hope this information is useful.
keep getting a thin layer of ice in the bottom of the freezer compartment then it drips down into the fridge compartment. I checked to see if the ice maker was leaking, but no. Looks like condensation on back wall of freezer and on the vent is dripping down and freezing on the bottom. I assume the anti-frost feature is thawing it out and dripping into the fridge area. If I don't remove the ice sheet in freezer every 3 to 4 days it will start to drip on the floor. Don't know what to look for. Please help, thanks.

Hi Mike, thank you for your inquiry. First, you may need to make sure the freezer door seals properly and warm air does not enter the freezer. If that is not causing the issue, then you may need to check the defrost thermostat, part number PS11754118, as it is the most likely cause of this issue and may need to be replaced. I backed out the 2 top screws about a quarter inch and then removed bottem screw with a quater inch nut driver. I then lifted Ice Maker clear of the two top screws and lowered it enough to unclip the power connection with a small screwdriver. The new Ice Maker was wired correctley for my refrigeator so all I had to do wea reconnect the

I ordered the parts and they were there in less time than a service tech could come out and i installed the parts and guess what for 90.00 in parts and 15 minutes in time I repaired my refrigerator.
