Where is the temperature control located?

Hello Peter, thank you for getting in touch. Ice accumulating on the bottom of the freezer floor is almost always caused by a clogged or frozen defrost drain. During the automatic defrost cycle meltwater from the evaporator coils flows down a small drain tube to the drain pan under the refrigerator. If this drain hole or tube freezes over or gets blocked by debris, the water has nowhere to go and pools on the freezer floor where it refreezes into a solid sheet. Start by removing the freezer back panel and flushing the drain hole with warm water using a turkey baster until it drains freely. If the evaporator coils are heavily frosted over the defrost heater may have failed and the drain is receiving no meltwater at all during defrost cycles. The replacement defrost heater is part number PS11740459. We hope this helps.
When my ice maker fills with water it sprays everywhere and ices up the inside of the door.
Hi Tom, thank you for reaching out. The water inlet valve is likely causing this issue if it is worn or failing to close completely. When the valve shuts down improperly, it allows a small, continuous drip of water to enter the fill tube and freeze into an ice restriction. During the next cycle, the incoming water hits this ice block, causing it to spray erratically outside the mold and freeze on the inside of the freezer door. Replacing the water inlet valve, part number WPW10179146, can help restore a clean, properly timed flow and prevent this ice buildup. We hope this solves your problem!

I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
