It will also filter out the excess oil that is in the tool. Once these Inserts get dirty and clogged they should be replaced.

This part is an OEM from Dynabrade. The speed regulator is made for use with many orbital sander devices. This item holds the valve stem in the housing assembly, and is sold individually. The plastic regulator manages the airflow, controlling the sander speed. You will need a pair of pliers for the installation.
