0136707 Presto Pressure Cooker - Overview

This is a genuine Presto replacement part, it is sold individually. This is a safety feature for Pressure Cookers and Canners. In the event if the pressure regulator fails, and to much pressure builds up in the pot, the Overpressure Plug will pop out of the lid releasing the excess pressure in the pot.

This is an OEM part from Presto. This Cover Lock is used on many models of Presto pressure cookers and canners. The Post is made of steel and the gaskets are made of rubber. This part is used to lock the lid to the pot making it so the lid will not open while under pressure. Another part that is commonly ordered with the Cover Lock is the Pressure Regulator (part number 09978).

This is an authentic Presto replacement part. The sealing ring is found in pressure cookers. This part is made of flexible plastic, and is used to seal the connection between the lid and pot. No tools are required when replacing this part. Simply remove the old part and snap the new one into place. This item is sold individually.
