This genuine OEM burner knob gives you control over the heat temperature of your cooktop or range burner element. It features a stainless steel color and measures approximately 2 inches in diameter. If the knob is cracked or damaged, it is advisable to replace it. To do so, ensure the knob has the OFF position centered at the top, then slide it straight off the stem and replace it with the new knob. Please note that these knobs are sold individually.

Original cooktop knobs were cracked
Knobs pull off and on easily without tools. The two new knobs were an exact match for my LG cooktop.

A dual radiant heater supplies heat to a cooking area beneath a glass cooktop. Replacement may be needed when one zone does not warm, only the inner or outer section works, or the element has a visible break. Normal radiant burners cycle on and off, so cycling alone does not prove a failure. Check the control switch and connections first, then match the replacement by full model number, location, size, mounting points, and electrical rating. Disconnect the range at the breaker and confirm the circuit is dead before service. Handle sharp metal edges and the glass top carefully, and return every bracket, shield, and wire to its original position.

Dropped a hammer on the range while removing a ceiling light. Viewed a How-To video on Google. Ordered the needed parts. Followed the steps from the How-To video. Reinstall was a bit tricky by myself - could have used an extra set of hands. I have a few words of caution:
1) Put something between the range top and range - like a ... Read more sheet or drop cloth - to prevent a dropped screw from falling into a crevice in the stove. I dropped a screw and was unable to retrieve it, even with a magnet.
2) Makes sure you remove all bumpers, screws, clips, etc. from the item being replaced and put them on the new item if the new item does not come with replacement bumpers, screws, etc.
