Hammer Piston Ring 40 (hm1211-t1) This piston ring is an authentic OEM sourced item that is specially designed for Makita demolition hammers. It is one of the rings that helps to create an air tight seal between the piston and the cylinder walls. Note that a worn or a damaged piston ring will allow combustion gases to escape the seal causing low compression and the loss of power. One durable metal piston ring is included per order. To replace it you will need a hex key also called an allen wrench.
