Dust Collector Filter Assembly This is a genuine Black and Decker replacement part, it is sold individually. The 5147239-00 works in conjunction with the 5147238-00 Prefiter. It will collect the dust and debris that the Prefilter was not able to gather. It will catch the dust and small debris from entering the motor and damaging it. Once this filter becomes dirty and clogged it should be discarded, and replaced with a new one.

Dust Collector Prefilter This replacement pre-filter is specially produced for handheld dustbuster vacuums. It is sourced directly from original manufacturer and it is sold individually. Its purpose is to prevent dust and debris from entering the motor and damaging it. The filters should be replaced every 6 to 9 months and whenever worn or damaged. No special tools needed to replace it. Please note, this is a pre-filter, the main filter is sold separately.

The filter is washable, but over time may wear out requiring replacement. The filter is sold individually.

This part is made of fabric in a frame, and is placed in the air box behind the filter to help remove dust and debris from the air. This product is supplied as an individual replacement part.
