Dishwasher Panels

Popular Dishwasher Panels

This console cover is a genuine OEM replacement part used in dishwashers. It is a smooth panel located on the front of the dishwasher, made of plastic with various labels and indicators arranged in a user-friendly layout for easy operation. It houses the buttons, display, and other user interface elements used to control the dishwasher. The console cover also serves as a protective barrier, shielding the internal electronics from moisture and damage. If the console cover is cracked or warped, it may leave the control panel or touchpad vulnerable to damage. To replace the console cover, you will need to first disassemble the dishwasher door.

Installation Instructions
Patrick from Rangeley, ME
Console cover was cracked and broken
Watched video available on Partselect.com to take apart washer door to remove and install new part. Video was very helpful to get door apart and remove old part, however installing the new cover did not go as easy as video showed. Cover doesn't just snap in place so easy and I broke off some of the tabs that hold this part in place. Half of the cover doesn't sit plush as intended and I will have to glue it to the door frame in order to get it to sit flush.

Mike from GAHANNA, OH
Control Panel lights started flashing like a lightswitch rave, dishwasher stopped working
This is apparently a widely known issue for LG, and since their call center was closed due to Coronavirus, I had no luck getting them to cover the repair. Not wanting to wait weeks of months for them to get off their duffs, I ordered the part and unscrewed the six screws holding the control panel on and unplugged the old part, plugged in the new part, and replaced the screws.

Works great now.
This is the user interface cover, which goes over the user interface panel on compatible dishwashers, so you can easily select and adjust your dishwasher cycle settings. If this interface cover is physically broken and/or not allowing you to select and change cycles on your dishwasher, it should be replaced. Replacing it will require some disassembly of your dishwasher, so tools like a socket wrench and screwdriver will be needed. This cover panel is sold individually and does not come with the computerized control panel included.

My control problem broke/pulled off.
I had to take off the front panel of the dishwasher to attach the new control panel.
IMPORTANT NOTES: Save the control buttons and the smooth grip piece from your old panel to use with the new panel because THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED. Also, the control buttons have letters on them which correspond with letters on the back of the new panel. Match them up to be sure they fit correctly.
