Craftsman Generator Filter- A/c Cartridge

This is a replacement air filter/AC cartridge for your small engine. The air filter prevents dirt and debris from entering the engine. Over time, the air filter can become clogged or damaged, and this can lead to reduced performance. This air filter is approximately 4 inches wide and approximately 5 inches long. To replace the air filter, locate the air filter cover on the side of the engine, unscrew it, and remove the old filter. Be sure to clear out any dirt, clippings, or other debris that has found its way into the air filter assembly before you insert the new filter. Reattach the air filter cover, and secure it with the screws. This product is sold individually.

Total disassemble, clean out water and any rust. hone cylinder, wire brush where needed,reassemble with new rings,gaskets and seals and lucas oil product. Started on second pull. Mowed lawn. If you have never done this sort of work before, probably should not attempt.

This is a round, inline fuel filter with 0.25-inch nipples, used in a variety of lawn and garden equipment. It is sourced from the original equipment manufacturer and has the capability to filter out particles as small as 150 microns in size. The filter is designed to remove any dirt or debris in the fuel to avoid contaminating the engine. Over time, it is common for the filter to become clogged with dirt/debris or damaged, resulting in less fuel entering the engine, engine misfiring, stalling, and overall lower performance from your equipment. To replace the faulty fuel filter, first disconnect the fuel lines with pliers or a clamp tool and then pull out the old filter. Install the new filter into the housing and reattach the fuel lines to complete your repair.

It has an outer diameter of 4.25 inches and a height of 3 inches. The air filter is responsible for removing dirt and debris from the air before it enters the engine to keep the engine free from contaminants. Over time, it is normal for the paper on the filter to tear or become clogged, thereby restricting airflow, increasing fuel consumption, and damaging the engine. Regularly inspecting and replacing the air filter is critical to maintaining the performance of your engine. To begin this repair, locate the air filter housing near the engine or carburetor and remove the cover. Carefully remove and discard the old filter, making note of its position. Clean the air filter housing and insert a new, clean filter in the correct position. Place the cover back onto the housing and ensure that it is tightly fitted to prevent air leaks.
